We are also the first to build yachts in compliance with Lloyds and MCA in Asia. The company has been awarded the Best Asian Motor Yacht Builder title, and has also been certified with an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance and Management System by Bureau Veritas. Since 2004, Kingship has already firmly established as one of the leading producers of superyachts.
Mission & Vision
The story of Kingship is inseparable from the story of its founder, Roger Liang, who has long been connected to the water. Born into a boat-building family, Roger has a lifetime of experience in creating seagoing crafts, drawing on the highest values of the world’s maritime traditions. Armed with the knowledge that was embedded in him, he made acquisitions and became actively involved in two further shipyards: Baglietto in Italy in the 1980s and Green Bay Marine in Singapore in the 1990s.
In his years at Baglietto, Roger had the chance to work with several today’s world masters who were only beginning their career back then, namely Giovanni Zuccon, Francesco Paszkowski and the late Jon Bannenberg, some of the most influential designers today. Such experience fuelled his passion for both yachts and perfection, inspiring him to venture into construction of the highest quality superyachts.
It was Roger’s belief in Innovation – the key driver of all matters, and quality that brought Kingship into vibrant life. Bringing together the most efficient, precise and reliable Dutch and German engineering, top quality European and US marine equipment and highly-skilled Chinese craftsmanship, every Kingship yacht combines classic comfort and elegance with innovative ideas and technology.
We take pride in working with the most respected designers and renowned naval architects. Our uncompromising commitment to quality and meticulous attention to every detail from stem to stern has enabled us to meet our clients’ highest expectations.Roger Liang
